Heavy monsoon rains and flash flooding inundated much of metro Phoenix and Scottsdale, Arizona on Friday, August 5. Coincidentally, and unfortunately, Friday is trash day in Phoenix. Local resident Kevin Moore caught a several trash cans, and some trash, floating lazily down his street after the storm.The National Weather Service issued several warnings on Friday to residents of Phoenix, Scottsdale, and the surrounding areas to not attempt to drive through flood waters and to move to higher ground.
