The Missouri State Highway Patrol is warning motorists about the dangers bears can present, reports KTVI.

Dashcam video taken in Howell County shows one of the big, furry creatures darting across a highway and into the side of a pickup truck.
The animal then quickly runs into the woods.
The bear was reportedly uninjured, but the incident could have ended very badly for all involved.
Authorities advise that in the event of a more serious collision, humans stay inside their vehicles and call for help, notes UPI.
