Obama: Access to weapons 'not the meaning of liberty'

After meeting survivors and families of victims killed in the mass shooting in Orlando President Barack Obama on Thursday urged people to support the restriction of access to dangerous assault weapons “Those who defend the easy accessibility of assault weapons should meet these families and explain why that makes sense,” the president demanded "Why is it they think our liberty requires these repeated tragedies? That’s not the meaning of liberty,” the president added.
