A group of Italian and Greek Jews vacationing in a lakeside hotel in Northern Italy around the 1943 Armistice find themselves captives of a group of Nazi soldiers led by a sadistic captain. Amid love and espionage a young girl in love with a jewish youth tries desperately to see to their comfort along with a sympathic german lady, as the Nazi's deprive them of their dignity.
