The game is a continuation of the war between the Brotherhood of Assassins and the Templars, who have now reached Italy. You star as Enzio in Assassin's Creed 2. He is the son of a Florentine nobleman and seeks revenge for the tainting of his family name by the powerful and corrupt families of Italy. Assassin's Creed 2 for Java phones has a different mechanic to the original PC game, and is more like a traditional linear platform game. It's still fun to play though, and is a game that's easy to pick up and play thanks to its very simple control system. In fact, Assassin's Creed 2 feels a bit too simple at times, and the constant jumping, running and attacking can get monotonous.
