The US military has identified a video showing masked boys holding guns as an Al Qaeda in Iraq training film. Some of the boys in the video are as young as 11 and are being trained as the next generation of Al Qaeda. The video shows the boys chanting while surrounded by weapons including grenades, AK 47s and pistols. Another shows a young boy strapped with a suicide vest. And yet Another video depicts armed boys in black hoods shouting as they force a man off his bicycle. All the while a male voice off screen instructs them. Military sources say they don’t know how many children al qaeda in iraq uses in its operations and believe the boys in the video are willing participants. The Us military says the video was obtained during a raid in December and indicates the increased al qadea targeting of children.
A tornado that stretched through 4 states has left 54 dead. The Southern storms came with almost no warning and are the deadliest in nearly 20 years. Kentucky, Arkansas, Alabama and Tennessee were the four states hit. President Bush said Wednesday he had called the governors of the affected states to offer help and to tell them that "the American people hold those who suffered up in prayer."
