What Is Singing (zhongshan Park Beijing 2007) www.enter-landscape.co.cc is a performance for instrumental and computer music, dance, live video and painting, a hommage to an imaginary past. Based on the music piece 'Shen Ren Chang', one of the oldest, anonymous, tunes in the literature for the Chinese Zither GuQin, it attempts to reconstruct, with contemporary media, human condition in a past time of our ancestors, which is preserved to us solely by means of a small number of written texts and this one piece of written music.
