Cal State Northridge vs. Pacific, 01-12-08

CSUN beats UOP 78-61 in the Matadome on Jan. 12. The Matadors trailed by as many as 9 points but exploded for 53 points in the second half. The effort was led by Jonathan Heard's 16 points and 14 from Deon Tresvant. Josh Jenkins had 11 points, 11 assists, and 3 steals. Calvin Chitwood had 10 points, 7 rebounds, and 3 steals before leaving with an injury. Tremaine Townsend had 4 points, 4 rebounds, and 4 steals. CSUN forced the Tigers into 27 turnovers. They were 9-for-12 from three-point range in the second half after going 0-for-12 in the first half.

The Matadors improved to 12-3 overall and 4-0 in conference, placing them in sole possession of first place in the Big West.
