Earlier this month, a box containing two dead pit viper snakes turned up at a Beaver County, Pennsylvania post office.

Venomous snakes are often ace hunters and rarely miss their marks, which is just one of the many reasons they should be approached and handled with the utmost care.
Earlier this month, a box containing two dead pit vipers turned up at a Beaver County post office in Pennsylvania. 
The package was labeled ‘T-shirts’ and mailed from the Philippines, reports the Beaver County Times.
Authorities believe the two snakes were alive when shipped. 
The state has specific laws regarding venomous snake ownership, and among them is a permit be acquired prior to purchase.
