NCAA Tournament officials reared their not ideal heads on Thursday night during Kansas' Sweet 16 tilt with the Maryland Terrapins. When Maryland forward Jake Layman powered down a two-handed fast break dunk to give his team an early six-point lead, he was whistled for a "hanging on the rim" technical foul almost before hitting the ground.
