The History of Nazi Croatia

During World War 2, the Croatian government was allied with the Nazis. They had their own concentration camps where they murdered both Jews and Serbs. Even the Croatian religious leaders enthusiastically participated in the genocidal murders of World War 2. The Croats that were not Nazis were Communists. The sad thing is that nowadays Croats never condemn their Nazi past like most Germans do. To this day Croats rationalize the Nazi atrocities. The Croatian leader is a Holocaust denier, and one of the most popular bands in Croatia, “Thompson“, sings songs praising the Holocaust. A half-century after the Holocaust, you can still see crowds of people giving the Nazi salute--in Croatia.
