A “fireball”, spotted over Scotland on February 29, reportedly caused homes to shake and prompted a large number of phone calls to the police. People claimed to see the flash from Inverness-shire, Aberdeenshire and Pertshire. The event is suspected to have happened during a meteor shower.This video shows the flash from a car’s dashcam.
