Wealth, a pleasant life and nice people all help with the preaching of Islam

ADNAN OKTAR: “You live in the most luxurious places.“ True. The Prophet Solomon (pbuh) also lived a very luxurious and splendid life. Why do I desire this? For God’s approval. A poor life will not help with the preaching of Islam. So I could not have any effect. I could easily live in a shanty house and hold my discussions in a shack, but that would have no such effect. Would it? People like wealth and strength and power. Beautiful women, fast cars, good music, a pleasant life and nice clothes all have a positive effect on people. If you talk about religion along with them, then religion will also enter people’s selves and lives within its legitimate bounds, and great masses of people can become acquainted with Islam. Otherwise I could easily give a traditionalist, orthodox appearance. But you would not watch me, and I would have no effect. It would turn you off. What is the reason for your current admiration? Strength and power and wealth.
