Man Arrested For Trying To Sell Drugs In Court

Thirty-five-year-old Christopher Durkin from Pennsylvania has been arrested after he offered to sell some Suboxone to a stranger in traffic court.

Most people wouldn’t think about committing a crime in a courtroom, but one Pennsylvania man was caught trying to do just that. 

On Monday, 35-year-old Christopher Durkin appeared in a Pittsburgh court to face a driving-related charge. 

The Allegheny County Sheriff’s department has said that, after his time with the judge, he was caught talking to someone in the seating area and was asked to leave.

That person then told the officer that Durkin, whom he did not know, had offered to sell him Suboxone which is intended to ease opiate withdrawals. 

Durkin was then located and found to be carrying two unit doses of the prescription medicine.
