Unfortunately, as a Brit, I have no vote in the forthcoming 2008 U.S. Presidential election. However, I felt strongly about doing something to show my support for Ron Paul...so I bought some materials, made a sign, and placed it at a busy intersection.
I was basically aiming to spread the word about Ron Paul to my fellow countrymen, many of whom may have American friends (who could then be enlightened). There may even be some American tourists taking a winter vacation in the UK who might see the sign and wonder: “Who’s Ron Paul?” (I passed a group of six American tourists only a few weeks ago, so I know they are around!)
Anything is worth a try in order to get the word out and to help Ron Paul get on the Presidential ticket.
