The festivities included a parade with the “Big Heads and Giants” of Alicante as well as women in folk costumes dancing with castanets. The parade moved in a circle around the official Hoguera of the festival while the Bellesas del Foc (beauties of the fire) and ordinary people watched.The giants were maneuvered by people inside the long dresses. This event happens every year in the city of Alicante
