Part 2 of 3\r
Featured Speaker: Ms. Sheila Thompkins and Mr. James Cole, Challenger from Citizens for Detroits Future.\r
\r
In an incredible abuse of power, Challengers from Citizens for Detroits Future, the Michigan Democratic Party and the Detroit NAACP, were escorted by police out of Cobo Halls Absentee voting counting area after their discovery that two randomly tested tabulating machines were recording more votes than the number of ballot stubs corresponding to the ballots inserted and still in the machines.\r
\r
Catching what seemed to indicate ballot box stuffing, Citizens for Detroits Future and other challengers asked to see the Poll Books, ballot stubs and other election materials to see how extensive the discovery was. Angry election Supervisors said no and became hostile towards to the challengers! Despite being shown MCL 168.733, the state law which permits challengers to see and inspect any election materials they want without touching, an angry elections deputy Director, George Haygood refused to follow the clear law. Instead, he had all 28 challengers removed leaving only Mike Duggan Challengers. From NEWS ALERT by Mr. Tom Barrow, November 5, 2013.\r
