聖闘士星矢』の原作者として知られる車田正美氏の漫画家生活40周年を記念して、10年ぶりに劇場版が製作される。車田氏自らタイトルをつけた『聖闘士星矢 Legend of Sanctuary』は、数あるエピソードの中でも一番の人気を誇る「聖域十二宮編」をアニメ映画化する。来年初夏、新たなレジェンドとなるべくスクリーンに登場予定だ。
Saint Seiya: Legend of Sanctuary is a 2014 Japanese 3D computer-animated movie directed by Keiichi Sato and based on a manga by Masami Kurumada. The film will adapt the Sanctuary arc of the original manga.
