OUR BODEGA:
Located between the municipalities of Falces and Miranda de Arga in the Ribera Navarra, the bodega nestles in a micro-valley crossed by the River Arga. It lies at the convergence of the Mediterranean-influenced continental and Atlantic climates.
The fresh, humid northerly winds of the Pamplona basin generate good temperature inversion during the summer and autumn nights which encourages aromatic potential and at the same time increases the colour content of the grapes, while also providing sufficient daytime heat to guarantee perfect ripening, endowing them with smooth, rounded tannins.
THE COUNTRY:
Bodega Inurrieta lies in the middle of the Navarran river valley close to the town of Falces. These lands are home to an abundance of vines, olive groves, and meadows of yellow soy, gullies and rocky outcrops. Standing amongst them are Roman ruins, churches and castles which have born witness to the passing of time. The winemaking traditions of the county, of which you can still find traces in towns such as Funes, Liédena, Arellano and even Falces itself, date back to the 1st century BC in the Roman era, when wine was already produced in line with industrial criteria.
