Tetelestai "Nebuchadnezzar’s Dream" 1984 US Xian Prog Rock

Tetelestai "Tetelestai" 1984 US Private Xian Prog Rock from Baltimore, Maryland.

Excellent conceptual art rock custom from five highly creative Baltimore fellows, based on the book of Daniel and rooted in ‘70s progressive rock sounds with the theatrical approach of early Genesis. Lengthy tracks with complex structure, tempo changes, atmospheric guitar work, surreal moody synthesizer and electronic textures (parts of ‘Nebuchadnezzar’s Dream’ recall Oldfield’s ‘Tubular Bells’). Often a dark Gothic aura, such as ‘Writing On The Wall’ which creates a sensation of impending doom. And is that a touch of ‘The Court Of The Crimson King’ I hear on ‘The Eternal Kingdom’? Climaxes with a great instrumental track ‘The Return From Exile’. Very strange colorful cover of mummy-like figure in front of giant stone god face. Rare and obscure with only 1000 made. Another lp that you can proudly file with Arkangel and Jimmy Hotz. (Ken Scott – Archivist)..
