Mets fans are not happy about Alejandro De Aza

The 2015 New York Mets were a smashing success.
While there's plenty to be excited about heading into 2016, a growing sense of doom is hovering over fans of the soon-to-be NL East favorites.
The angst around an offseason that's basically already said goodbye to Daniel Murphy and Yoenis Cespdes-the 3rd and 4th hitters, respectively, on last year's October team-reached a tipping point on Monday when news circulated about the signing of Alejandro De Aza, a 31-year-old outfielder last seen with the San Francisco Giants.
As questions surround De Aza's ability to play center field at this stage of his career, act as a legitimate platoon partner for incumbent center fielder Juan Lagares and justify the reported one-year deal and roster spot the Mets are affording him, fans sounded off on both NJ.com and social media.
