Stunning Photo Shows Poor Fish In Bird's Mouth Stands No Chance

The U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service has released a stunning photograph showing the image of a white tern bird with a fish captured crosswise in its bill.

The U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service recently posted a stunning photograph to its Flickr photostream page.

It shows the image of a snowy bird with a small fish in its mouth.  

According to the captions, it has been identified as a white tern clutching a type of puffer fish, either as food for itself or for its chick. 

The agency’s website explains that, as shown, the avian species naturally “carries prey crosswise in its bill.” 

They are also known to breed around warmer waters like the Pacific
