Cuban Students Urge Support for Venezuela

Cuban students interviewed by teleSUR said that the Venezuelan election results should be taken as a warning to Latin American people that things can move backwards. Coming on the heels of the leftist defeat in Argentina, it could foretell another loss in Ecuador. The students spoke of the need for young people in Cuba and all of Latin America to keep hope alive and support Venezuela, making it clear to the world that they will “continue to build a new system with new expectations of prosperity for the people, which is what socialism is all about.”
