'We had seconds to stop the terrorist'

Border Policemen thwarted a stabbing attack in Hevron on Monday night, in which a Palestinian Arab terrorist stabbed one civilian outside the Cave of the Patriarchs.
Sergeants M. and A. recounted details of the attack in the hours which followed.
What alerted them to the attack: a series of screams.
"I and the fighters who were with me on patrol heard screaming, and we realized immediately it was a terror attack," A. stated.
"We knew we had seconds to stop the terrorist before he could harm more civilians."
"We ran towards him and we identified the terrorist as he leaned over to strike," he continued.
"We shot at him until he fell to the ground."
