Marvel may be looking to keep some of its surprises in "Captain America: Civil War" a secret. Entertainment Weekly has revealed Spider-Man's role in the third Captain America film, which is due out next year and directed by Cleveland's Joe and Anthony Russo. EW , which visited the set of the film, revealed it saw a character in "a very familiar red and blue suit" off to the side during one of "Civil War's" epic battles. It was Downey Jr. who later unintentionally confirmed Spider-Man's appearance in during an interview: "We're now like the old guard, and our storyline carries real weight just because of our history in the [canon]," Downey Jr. said. "But we're also looking around like, 'Who thought that Falcon and Black Panther and Ant-Man and now Spider-Man...?' I mean it's like wow, this thing is just crazy."
