Mexico: Ayotzinapa Parents Lift Sit-In After Meeting with Gov't

Following a meeting with Mexican Attorney General Arely Gomez, parents of the 43 missing Ayotzinapa students lifted their sit-in encampment near the presidential residency. The government agreed to create a special investigative unit with the participation of independent experts from the Inter-American Commission on Human Rights, open new lines of investigation, and meet with the Ayotzinapa parents every two weeks. While expressing cautious optimism, the parents say their protests will nevertheless continue. Clayton Conn reports from Mexico City. teleSUR
