Netanyahu and Abbas shake hands for first time in five years

Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, who is attending the 2015 United Nations Climate Change Conference in Paris, met Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas on Monday, and the two leaders shook hands for the first time in five years.
Besides the meeting with Abbas, Neyanyahu also spoke with US President Barack Obama, French President Francois Hollande, German Chancellor Angela Merkel, UK Prime Minister David Cameron, and Italian Prime Minister Matteo Renzi at the conference.
Sources at the Prime Minister's Office said that Netanyahu and Obama walked around the conference halls and spoke for 10 minutes.
