Ministri i Jashtëm, Edmond Panariti, ka deklaruar se rinegocimi i marrëveshjes për ndarjen e ujerave territoriale me Greqinë mund te realizohet nga qeveria e ardhshme pas zgjedhjeve te vitit 2013. I thirrur ne seance dëgjimore ne komisionin e Jashtëm ministri Panariti ka sqaruar se grupet e punës janë ngritur vetëm për llogari te qeverise shqiptare. Ministri nuk ka dhënë date për fillimin e negociatave, por ka theksuar se ato do te fillojnë kur Shqipëria te jete gati, duke pranuar se procesi mund te mos realizohet nga kjo mazhorance. Mbledhja e komisionit te Jashtëm është shoqëruar me debate mes kreut te komisionit dhe opozitës, e cila ka kërkuar vazhdimin e seancës dëgjimore me dyer te mbyllura pas kërkesës se vete ministrit, për shkak te sensibilitetit te çështjes. Refuzimi i kërkesës nga kreu i komisionit Fatos Beja ka nxitur reagimin e opozitës, e cila ka deklaruar se qëndrimi i Bejes vjen për shkak se i biri punon ne Ministrinë e Jashtme. Pas përfundimit te komisionit te jashtëm PS ka depozituar një kërkesë për një tjetër seance dëgjimore me ministrin Edmond Panariti për çështjen e ndarjes se kufirit detar me Greqinë.

Foreign commission meeting was followed by debate between the commission and the opposition leader, who has requested the continuation of the hearing behind closed doors after the request of the Minister, due to the sensitivity of the issue. Refusal of the application by the head of the commission Fatos Beja has prompted opposition reaction, which stated that the attitude of Beja comes because his son works at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. After completion of PS external commission has filed a request for another hearing with the Minister Edmond Panariti the question of the maritime border with Greece.
