I riu qe kishte hyre për skrap ne minierën e Verdoves ne Pogradec, është gjetur i vdekur afro 24 ore me vone. 35-vjeçari Gerald Xhukellari, baba i dy fëmijëve, sipas eksperteve, ka humbur jetën nga gazi ne galeri. Madje, specialisteve te RISHM-it, për shkak te sasisë se madhe te çliruar nga gazet e dëmshme, u janë dashur disa ore për te hyre ne brendësi. Sipas te afërmeve, kjo ishte hera e trete qe Xhukellari hynte për te kërkuar skrap ne minierën qe ishte jashtë funksionit prej vitesh. Ai ishte kthyer nga Greqia vetëm pak kohe me pare, pasi kishte mbetur pa pune dhe përpiqej te siguronte te ardhura për familjen nga shitja e hekurishteve.
