Iraqi Kurdish fighters take Sinjar back from ISIL

Massud Barzani, president of the Iraqi Kurdish region, has announced the "liberation" of the town of Sinjar from ISIL. Members of the Yazidi minority, a local Kurdish-speaking community targeted by ISIL, are now waiting to get back their hometown.
