Syria: Kurdish YPG launches assault to capture Hasaka

Kurdish fighters in the northern Syrian city of Hasaka have launched a major offensive to capture the government-held areas. The Kurdish YPG militia has demanded that pro-government forces leave the mostly-Kurdish controlled province.
