1- Watch, Listen, And Smell Your Surroundings 2- practice watching your back with your peripheral vision 3- use car windows to watch your back 4- watch shadows around you 5- use crowded areas as cover 6- walk on wide areas (like the street instead of sidewalk), 7- avoid walking in narrow areas, that will restict your escapes 8- walk faster if you feel your being followed 9- prepare yourself to be confronted, be ready to fight or run 10- try to look unapproachable (i always try to look angry and very serious when i walk)
