The Walking Dead has returned to television for the sixth season and a spin-off, so it’s time for another deep dive into all the deviations between the comics and the show! Season 3 of the show covered a large swath of the comics, but liberally deviated from the story. Fortunately, we’re here to tell you: What’s the Difference?

Season 3 of the AMC TV show covered no fewer than 3 volumes of the comics series, but there were a lot of changes made when bringing the Image Comics stories to the screen. Fan favorites Michonne, The Governor, and the plot-crucial prison are in both stories, but minor tweaks and major plot overhauls abound. Get readily for some serious Walking Dead Trivia - we’re about to drop so many differences, you’ll want to eat someone’s face off!
