Dozens of Palestinians hurled stones at Israeli troops who responded with tear gas and rubber-coated steel pellets in the West Bank city of Ramallah. The clashes come amid an upsurge in violence that has left nine Israelis and 42 Palestinians killed, along with an Eritrean migrant worker.
