The Interstate Reliability Project will meet the demand for electricity and support the reliable delivery of electricity to customers under many different conditions.

The Interstate Reliability Project, designed to improve reliability of our transmission network, is a New England East-West Solution (NEEWS) 345-kV transmission project. The project is in an existing transmission right-of-way and covers territory in three states, Massachusetts, Rhode Island, and Connecticut.
