Steelers re-write the book on how to throw away a game

With less than 10 minutes remaining in the overtime period of a deadlocked, hard-fought contest against the arch-rival Baltimore Ravens, the Pittsburgh Steelers opted to run a passing play on fourth-and-one from Baltimore's 31-yard line.
With no confidence remaining in his bewildered kicker, Tomlin opted for a pair of risky fourth-and-short calls in the overtime period; the second of which came at the expense of allowing the veteran kicker a chance at redemption from 50 yards out.
Blame Todd Haley and the game plan, but don't blame Haley for ignoring the league's best receiver, missing critical throws and absorbing several unwarranted sacks.
The profound efforts of Brown, Le'Veon Bell and dominant showings by both Stephon Tuitt and Sean Spence on the defensive side of the ball were wasted by poor special teams play , bad quarterback play and poor play management.
