USA: Suspect Dead after Mass Shooting

Authorities in the state of Oregon are trying to ascertain the motive for the shooting of as many as 13 people at Umqua Community College. The shooter is now dead, and four guns found at the scene are thought to have belonged to him. Officials are baffled at this attack in what was thought to be a safe, peaceful rural community. The Sheriff of Roseburg County confirmed 10 deaths and 10 injuries at a press conference on Thursday. President Barack Obama, in his comments on the 15th mass shooting this year, reiterated his call for stricter gun control legislation. Bianca Perez reports for telsSUR.
