In an effort to defend children against violence and sexual abuse, the 15 member nations of the Caribbean Community, in coordination with children's rights advocates, are designing a strategy to address the problem. The major concern in the region is over the sexual exploitation of teenage girls from 12 to 15 years of age. Success depends on a collective response from the different countries involved.
