Epic battle between hyenas and pack of wild dogs

Amazing footage has emerged of an epic battle over food between wild dogs and hyenas at Kruger National Park.

The bloody fight was caught on camera on July 27 but has only just emerged online.

It shows roughly ten dogs taking on two hyenas over the carcass of an impala.

The dogs had killed the impala earlier, but the hyenas try to steal their spoils, something they're renowned for.

The pack of dogs work together to outnumber the hyenas, eventually keeping the food for themselves.
