Gaza. ‘Disaster and Hope’- A Call to Rebuild Rehabilitation Hospital

One year ago, Israeli bombs completely destroyed Gaza’s only rehabilitation hospital for long-term injuries and physical disabilities. On Tuesday, medical staff and disabled patients organized a photo exhibition called “Disaster and Hope” as a form of protest. In a press conference, the hospital director pointed to the remains of structures completely destroyed for no reason. Tens of clinics that used to provide services for 10,000 patients were wiped out, he said, in an appeal to the whole world to help reconstruct the hospital and its clinics.
