Syria: 48-Hour Truce Reached

A new 48-hour truce was reached in Zabadani to the west of Damascus. The truce includes the transfer of wounded militants by the Red Cross from Zabadani to areas under their control, in exchange for halting attacks on the towns of Kefraya and Fuaa. At the same time, seven people were wounded when extremist groups fired mortar shells at residential neighborhoods in Damascus. The army responded by attacking the sites where missiles were launched in the city’s Ghouta suburbs. Hazem Abdullah reports from Damascus for teleSUR.
