Thriller / Action (2007) 92 minutes ~ Color

On the surface, Ray Ryan has it all. He's a successful advertising executive with a new promotion. He has a nice home and a beautiful fiancée. Underneath it all is a dark secret he's finding harder to hide. Ray's nightmares are giving way to visions of his abusive father, unlocking a suppressed violence he's unable to control. When ray brutally assaults a man in a parking lot, it leads to an investigation by an aging detective with a connected past. Neither is prepared as the secrets begin to unfold over a thirty-year-old murder they've both struggled to keep buried.

00:00I don't ever remember what it was about, but, um, she'd always say something that would
00:16get to him.
00:18And when that happened, things turned ugly.
00:26And he'd start to hit her.
00:33You know, I'd always remember that he would hit her in the exact same spot.
00:41You know, maybe one night it was the chest, or the other night it was the shoulder, or
00:45the other night it was the face.
00:49Jesus Christ.
00:52He was five years old. I mean, is this, is this real? I mean, can I be having these memories
00:59when I was that young?
01:05I mean, maybe it's just one of those things, you know, where the more traumatic the experience,
01:12the more difficult.
01:13You know, it's like he knew that he wasn't going to be around for very long, so he just
01:17pounded it into me just right.
01:21And my mother, that, it's like she was just waiting to die. All I can remember was her
01:29crying, and there was nothing that I could do.
01:36It was, it was helpless. Jesus Christ, it's so scary.
01:41It's okay. There's nothing you could do.
01:46And I don't know. I guess in the parking lot last night, I don't know where I was or what
01:51I was doing, and I just completely lost it.
01:55It's okay. It's okay. I understand.
01:58It was at the couch, and...
02:05What?
02:06Shh, it's okay. You don't have to tell me anymore.
02:10It's okay.
