GH Bush Born Again

Jeb Bush's family has a long "heritage" with Planned Parenthood, going back to their founding.
St. Louis bond dealer George Herbert Walker was one of the businessmen who helped get the American Birth Control League started in the early 1920s. The ABCL was re-named Planned Parenthood Federation of America (PPFA) shortly after WW2. Walker helped sponsor some of the first eugenics conferences on the East Coast where the state of Virginia's forced sterilization laws were first written. The Supreme Court later struck them down as barbaric. The Nazis later took the Virginia statues back to Germany. Walker and the Harriman's owned the shipping line which transported many German officials to these conferences.
His son-in-law Prescott Bush was politically active on social issues. He was involved with the American Birth Control League as early as 1942, and served as the treasurer of the first national capital campaign of Planned Parenthood in 1947.
Prescott Bush's ties with Planned Parenthood also hurt him in heavily Catholic Connecticut, and were the basis of a last-minute campaign in churches by Bush's opponents; the family vigorously denied the connection, but Bush lost to Benton by only 1,000 votes.
Prescott's son George H.W. Bush, while a Congressman from Houston, TX (1968 thru 72), was best known for his legislative effort to lobby for and get passed the first use of taxpayer money (Title X) to research, fund and distribute contraception so as to mass pervert the kids of America. This tied in very well with the explosion of the sexual revolution in the 1970s. The later President Bush was so aggressive about back when he served in Congress that his fellow Congressmen coined him "Rubbers Bush".
His son George W. Bush first ran for Congress in Midland, TX and lost due to his "pro-choice" platform. But then "W" had his much ballyhooed spiritual and pro-life "conversion". ("W"'s pro-life "conversion" was courtesy of National Right to Life.) Later when in the White House his budgets gave far more money to Planned Parenthood than what Bill Clinton ever did.
As Florida Governor, Jeb Bush signed the capital punishment execution warrant for Pastor Paul Hill, knowing the court had never let Hill provide his basic defense in a court of law, for his action - using force to stop abortion. Governor Jeb Bush also refused to intervene on behalf of Terri Shiavo who was staved and dehydrated to death by order of a Florida Judge.
