18-Foot Python Captured In Florida

A Burmese python measuring an astounding 18 feet and 3 inches in length was recently captured at Florida’s Everglades National Park.

Burmese pythons are typically docile and solitary creatures, but their immense size and ability to swallow large animals make them dangerous.

One snake measuring an astounding 18 feet and 3 inches in length was recently captured at Florida’s Everglades National Park. 

It was first spotted on the side of a road in Shark Valley, and was contained by an officially sanctioned python researcher.

Though the catch wasn’t large enough to set the record for the biggest one ever, it did place in the top 3.
