NASA recently announced that the Kepler mission has confirmed the existence of a planet that’s closest match to our own known to date.

Astronomers have long been searching the universe for a planet similar to our own.

On Thursday, NASA announced that the Kepler mission has confirmed the existence of closest match known to date.

It’s called Kepler-452b and is located in the constellation Cygnus.

The distance between it and Earth is roughly 1,400 light-years.

It shows similarities in size, distance from its sun, and orbit duration.

The likenesses are close, but not exact.

Kepler-452b is roughly 60 percent larger than Earth, and the distance between it and its parent star is approximately 5 percent greater.

Those two factors contribute to it taking 20 d
