How do we use the words"go" and "come" in a conversation?

If the person is beside us, then we use it normally: go from here to there, come from there to here. But if the person is not beside, if the person is on the phone or at the other end of the room then we use come. For example, Stay there, I'll come to you, or I'll see you when you come here next week.
