Thunderstorm Rips Through Russian Town of Perm

A strong storm felled trees and billboards in the Russian city of Perm, near the Urals, on Wedneday, June 24, according to Russian media. Wind gusts reached up to 20 metres per second (72 kph, 46 mph) ripping the roof off the main railway station. Transport came to a halt in parts of the city as debris and trees blocked roads.This video shows the heavy winds and driving rain accompanying the forceful thunderstorm.
