The sound designers for Jurassic Park got creative when making dinosaur noises. The T-Rex roar was a mix of tiger, alligator, and baby elephants while the dilophosaurus had some howler monkeys, rattlesnakes, hawks, and swans. Best of all? The velociraptors’ communications were created from the sweet, sweet sound of tortoise copulation.
Totally ignoring the film’s message that men shouldn’t play God, there have been real-life attempts to recreate events in Jurassic Park. Paleontologist and Jurassic Park advisor, Jack Horner, is researching how to make a chickenosaurus, a cross between a dinosaur and a chicken.
