Secretary of State John Kerry was hospitalized following a bike accident in France on Sunday.
Secretary of State John Kerry was hospitalized following a bike accident in France on Sunday.
The accident took place about 25 miles from Geneva, Switzerland where he
had been holding talks with Iranian officials on the nuclear program.
John Kirby with the State Department told the New York Times,
"The Secretary was transported via medical helicopter to Hospital
University Geneva...Secretary Kerry is stable and likely suffered a leg
injury. He did not lose consciousness.”
Kerry is an avid bicyclist and is known to go for biking even during his visits to other countries.
