I take back anything bad I ever said about Q2, this level makes anything else I have played look like a stack of gold. For everything that Q2 wasn't, Q2 at least used a single texture on all surfaces. This level has a single texture, but only uses it on select faces. The rest, basically the exterior walls, is a mess of untextured faces.

A visual glitch lover's dream, this level is a nightmare for any normal person. Please don't mind the Dxtory Framerate counter, I keep that up to know when I am recording and to ensure it is moving at a smooth rate. Most of the time it isn't visible as it is covered when something else is drawn there. The problem is when there is visual glitches and void, meaning it is highly noticeable in this level.

All the platforms are dark. You have to move around and hope to make out a shape in order to drop to the next platform. You can also fire to generate some light, but mostly you will be playing blind. I guess LURK implies stealth, but the problem is the visual glitches just makes it terrible for everyone.

Getting past the visual glitches, we also have a problem when you remember this is a Deathmatch level. The entire level is one-way and certain spawn points drop you at lower points than I started at in the video (therefore why you see I suicided). Basically, once you drop to the ground floor or miss a platform you are basically stuck down there with only a single Nailgun pickup.

There also is a platform that is impossible to reach that holds the best weapon in the map, a Super Nailgun. Of course, the platform is so small that the Super Nailgun's bounding box collides with a wall and causes it to fall through a map, making it pointless to even attempt to reach said platform.

We have a level that is extremely small with barely any exploration, has only one texture, has that one texture only on certain faces meaning you see more visual glitches than actual surfaces (this video might be hard to understand, but just remember you are seeing as much as me, which is not a lot), a weapon that falls through the level and a platform that is entirely useless, plus a Deathmatch level that is entirely linear. There is extremely little this level actually does right, this level is absolutely horrible in my opinion and is quite possibly my new least favorite level just due to how much is wrong with it. Avoid at all cost.
